“Wanted very relaxing spa and restaurant night with husband. Arrived to find many families with young children staying. Used gym whilst awaiting check in. Within 10 minutes of being in (newly refurbished) lovely room, nearby kids were running up and down the corridor knocking on all doors, three times. Asked to be moved. Reception staff responded immediately and we were put in (slightly tired and dated) yet very quiet room elsewhere. Food excellent in restaurant but greeter would not accommodate……

“My room, as usual was excellent. Being a regular visitor of several times a year, I’ve always found my ‘home from home’ at Doolys hotel. The staff couldn’t be nicer, friendlier or more attentive. They take excellent care of me each time I’m there. From arrival, receptionist is Niamh, Ciara or Marisa, to the bar, restaurant and night porter Gerry. “We stayed here for 2 nights on our recent tour of Ireland. Firstly, the location was gorgeous. The little stream at the back of the property created a perfect backdrop to the pretty 'little' cottage. It was very easy to find using satnav, and there was parking for at least 2 cars. We were given plenty of clear instructions by the owner, enabling us to gain entry. We found that the 'little' cottage wasn't so little at all.
