Amazing Lodge - Amazing Experience!

The lodge is the perfect setting and ambiance, the cabins allow for great rest, the hot tub lets you enjoy the beautiful starry night and don't forget Drew the Caretaker, always there when you need something! This place is a gem!

Great place for families!

Room for all and great fun

My family had a fantastic time at the Huntley Lodge. There were so many things to do that it let everyone of all ages happy. The only unfortunate problem was some issues with inconsistent water pressure keeping several cabins from having enough water to shower each day. If our stay had been longer it might have been a more significant problem. All things considered, we would still rent this property again and have just as much fun as we did this time.

The caretaker Drew was super friendly and helpful the entire time. We wanted our guests to feel like they were at adult summer camp, and that is exactly what they felt like the entire time. It really couldn't have been more perfect. Our guests and family are already planning our 1 year wedding anniversarry to be here!

It had everything we needed for a fun and productive stay. We did a show in Cle Elum for the community. Then came back to the retreat for dining in the outdoor barbecue area and had a great time enjoying the pool and hottub. The care-taker was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Fabulous Family Fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sleeping space for 19 in the clean & roomy cabins was ideal. Many toys for the pool. Lots of space for visiting, cooking, dining. Outdoor kitchen spacious & dishwasher was quick & handy. We were disappointed that the indoor oven was not heating properly, our door stand up fridge was out of order but had plenty of room with both indoor & outdoor under the counter refrigerators was enough. Ice machine was fabulous. Drew, the caretaker, gave excellent tour & instructions of the facility. He was very helpful with checking on the indoor oven, working on fixing the outdoor music sound system, & making sure all was clean.

Perfect wedding venue!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed with 30 of our friends and family at the Huntley lodge for our wedding weekend. The wedding itself was hosted on the property and accommodated around 100 guests without a hitch. We could not have been happier with how things turned out! There was enough room for those who stayed to get to hang out together but also get away for alone time; kids loved the play spaces and pool; the kitchen acommodations and supplies were perfect; and the setting was beautiful. I would have absolutely done it all over again here if given the chance. Many thanks to Rhonda and Darren for their warmth and helpfulness!!

Beautiful spot for our casual wedding

We viewed the property once and knew it was what we were looking for. There is a main lodge for hanging out with a large outdoor entertaining area. There is also 4 cabins with 2 rooms each. All rooms can EASILY sleep 4. It was important for us to have the extra space as the majority of our party was from out of town. The on-site caretakers were amazing at being quick and helpful when needed and then staying at a distance when not. We never even knew they were there until we needed them. (We needed them to unlock a shed for additional chairs, chop and deliver firewood, and locate a corkscrew for wine bottles). Property had a ton of activities for the little ones and plenty of places to drink and have fun for the big ones. Kitchens were perfect. Spaces all had instructions to navigate. If you are on the fence, just book it. We will be back. -Ryan & Mack Council.

lovely experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Main lodge floors could use a good wet mop, I know it gets dusty, and it is hard to keep it clean. We left the kitchen cleaner than we found it. Everything was clean, just not super clean. It would be great to get the shed, the garden, and the storage units into a better organization (or just get rid of the whole thing). The location is so beautiful and all that stuff in the middle of the view along with the kid's run-down playground is such an eyesore. The property could use a little care and reorg. But I love it, I have been a repeat customer for 5 years in a row. The ground keepers are hard-working and kind.

Wonderful Wedding weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was an ideal place for young adults to stay for a long wedding weekend. The surroundings were beautiful. With guests from as far as New York and London we were looking for a place they could spend time together for a few days. There were plenty of activities to enjoy on site. The pool, hot tub, and sand volleyball court were all used. The lodge itself was a spacious gathering place for meals, card playing, and visiting after 10 pm quiet hours. The outdoor grill area was also a popular spot for gathering to eat and enjoy music. The caretaker lives on the premises and was very helpful and friendly. We did not always get a response from the property management prior to the wedding (ex outdoor lighting setup, is ice maker onsite) which made planning a little more difficult due to only seeing pictures online. Overall, this property is exactly what we were hoping despite the distant residents who seemingly intentionally chose to target practice with semi automatic weapons during part of the reception. We just laughed it off and refused to let them spoil our evening.

Super fun and private Lodge Property for 30-40 people!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Huntley Lodge this past weekend. It was a group of 30 friends and their families. The property has a main lodge and 4 duplexes. Each duplex has two cabins, and each cabin is basically a large room with a queen size bed and two full size beds in a slightly partitioned area. So each room/cabin fits 4 comfortably but there is a couch and an extra mattress in the closet. There is small kitchenette table with a fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. The room also has a closet and a couple of chest of drawers to put your stuff. However, if you go with a large group of friends and family, you’re going to be spending most of your time at the main lodge which was a super big hit with our group. The kids jumped into the pool in the day time, then hung out at the main lodge playing board games, pool and other things. The adults made breakfast in the inside kitchen, brought it outside on the huge patio and ate while enjoying amazing and serene views of the hills. Then we drove to a close by hike (Coal Miners trail) and hiked for about 4 miles. We came back and started working on the BBQ. We made burgers on the outside bar grills and listened to music on our phones by connecting them to the large outdoor speakers via blue tooth. In the late afternoon we played frisbee and horseshoe. They also have a volley ball net so some of the folks went and played volley ball. Then some sat in their large hot tub.Dinner was a big thing! We used their indoor oven, their outdoor grills, their bar area for drinks, listened to music, ate our food outside on the patio surrounded by nice lights going all around the patio. After dinner, everyone grabbed a drink, we lit up a fire in their large outdoor fireplace and sat around it. The kids made s’mores and the adults talked and relaxed.It was a memorable weekend full of fun, laughter, dancing, drinks, food and a super amazing private property. The caretakers D

Great space for large groups

A large main lodge and eight separate sleeping cabins (in paired duplexes) - this was great for giving everyone their own private space, and not having noise from the main house reach the sleeping spaces. This is out from the small town, and down a gravel road, so it feels nicely secluded. Great cooking spaces indoor and out, and space to gather in the lodge.The main drawbacks:- the cabins are up a fairly steep hill that wasn’t clear in the listing, so the far ones get extra steps in.- the technology is old, so bring vga to connect to a projector and audio cables to connect to the stereo.- the cabin floors are noisy, so you might wake up partners who aren’t on the same schedule.Overall a good amount of space kept well maintained, with some cute bunnies and turkeys to watch over your stay.

Great for Corporate Retreat

Great for large groups

Was perfect for our large group of girlfriends, we celebrated 50 years of getting together. The space was fantastic for the 36 of us ladies and the duplexes were perfect, large and comfortable. The kichen in the lodge was very well equiped with everything you need to prepare meals. We ha a great time! The pool was also wondeful.
