Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine. The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again. The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood."

The bathroom is small but the shower is very good. The studio was spotlessly clean when we checked in. "While struggling with the self check in computers I asked a staff member if I could check in with him and he just said “no it’s self check in. Use the computer”. He still had to create the room key, which didn’t work, so I returned to the lobby for a new one, which also didn’t work. I was then told “I don’t think any key will work, except for mine. So if you go out, I’ll have to let you back in.” You would think he would offer to move us to another room where a key did work. But no such luck. Once in the room, it was spacious and had a decent shower. The extractor fan, that turned on automatically with the light, was extremely loud!"

"Check-in was really good, polite and helpful staff. Room was clean, spacious and beds we comfortable. Spa facilities were really good, not too busy and nice changing rooms. Only issue was breakfast, arrived 10am and there was not much left, no bowls, butter, juices, mugs, fresh fruit or pastries. Due to this we tried the cooked breakfast, looked good but my daughters sausage was uncooked in the middle. This was disapointing as she ended up just having beans on toast, not the treat she expected! Hotel all in all is lovely, just need maybe more staff to re stock at breakfast"
