Rooms were clean,air conditioner kept room cold,refrigerator was clean and cold,microwave was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Owners were on site an very pleasant, working on updating the rooms an property. 15 minutes from shops restaurants all up too 20 minutes away. 15 minutes from frankenmuth.

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at this hotel. There were a lot of cockroaches and flies in the bathroom, the refrigerator was not working, and the entire room had a very unpleasant smell. We checked in around midnight, so we stayed the night despite these issues. It was extremely uncomfortable and not the experience we expected. I was in a hurry the next morning and could not bring these concerns to the staff’s attention before leaving. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and improves its cleanliness and maintenance. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Decent clean room. Simple accommodation, served its purpose for the night. Staff was super friendly.

Breakfast was lackluster, mainly because the gal running it was overwhelmed and other customers were ignorant. As someone on a lifting restriction due to health needs, it was extra to have the elevator out of service

We arranged our stay with Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Frankenmuth through Expedia. We reserved a King Suite with a jetted tub. When we checked in, the staff did not inform us that there was an error with the reservation. We didn't find out until we actually got up to the room and found out there was NO jetted tub in the room. My husband went back down to the front desk, and they said that they couldn't help us because we reserved through Expedia. We were on the phone for almost an hour with Expedia, but Expedia representatives did keep apologizing for the mix up which we appreciated, but why didn't anyone inform us of the issue before we left for our trip and why didn't the front desk representatives inform us of the situation when we checked in? The hotel manager and Expedia were able to refund a small portion, which was appreciated, but it really was a disappointment because we traveled over 5 hours and needed the jetted tub for my husband's back. He has back issues.
