When you walk into a $100.00 plus room and find ear plugs as part of the bath amenities, you know you are in trouble. We were on the second floor (of 3 floors) and could not sleep all night, highway outside our window, hearing the people above us at all different times during the night due to noise transfer, and then there was the heater going on and off all night long. Worst night sleep I have ever had in a hotel room. The Management was aware of these noise issues due to the fact the ear plugs were included in our room. The only one set of ear plugs placed in our room did not help or work. A room with such problems should be highly discounted, not worth the $100.00. We were there for the Historic Clinton, Mo 5k run. We were so happy we were not running the 1/2 marathon due to the lack of sleep. We were never notified of the noise problem, even though management was aware of it. I hope you agree this is not acceptable under any circumstances. I trust this hotel will take the necessary steps to prevent these issues in the future.

Nice hotel. It is beginning to need a little attention. Door lock was sticking making the door difficult to open. Lamp was broken. Drain was slow.....

Watch out what type of room you're booking......I thought it was a double, but got single Queen bed. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Enjoyable stay

Nice clean rooms and good breakfast. Close to highway, so had fan on to drown out highway noise, but usually do that most places. Lacked refrig and microwave. Otherwise very nice.

Not a good nights sleep

The staff was very friendly, although we arrived at 247 and actually we're not able to check in until exactly 3. The air in our room wasn't working properly and the beds were uncomfortable.

Friendly Clean Accommodations

Great hotel! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are up-to-date and clean. Breakfast is great and included. They even provide "breakfast on the run" prepackaged meals for those who just want to hit the road ASAP. A gem!

Awesome place to stay!

We enjoyed every part of our stay- from the cleanliness of the room to the hotel staff to the continental breakfast, everything was top notch. Plan to stay here again!

Conveniently located hotel.

Great breakfast, internet included, very clean rooms and friendly staff only con was pool was small so were pool towels. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

From the friendly and courteous staff to the clean and comfortable rooms, our overnight stay was a most pleasant experience. In the evening, we wend downstairs and enjoyed cookies, fruit and coffee. Nice place for a business traveler in Clinton MO

Typical Hampton Inn (it looks just like all of the others). The staff was very helpful and nice. I'm happy that there is a good place to stay now in Clinton.

Family experience with a baby

Pro: A comfortable stay overall with a good breakfast selection. Will stay here again when back in the area. Con: The loud AC; It was difficult to find a balance with setting the temperature to sleep with and when it would cycle on and off it would wake us at times. When it was off it seemed like the room got far too warm, even at night, with the heat wave we've had. Either too cold when it was blowing hard and then too warm as soon as it would stop.

Terrific experience!

The hotel staff here was very friendly and helpful!! The room and bathroom was very clean and the grounds were also nicely kept. The continental breakfast had skim milk....I hardly ever see that (AAA+++)!! Plenty of breakfast items...would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Hotel

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a flat tire on my car after arriving at the hotel around 10:15 pm. The lady at the desk got me checked in and then suggested some places in town that I could go to fix my tire or purchase a new one. The next day the same lady asked if I was able to get my tire problemtaken care of. If your going to Clinton, MO make a point to stay at The Hampton Inn.
