“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to……

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“I think the name means darling accommodation and it certainly is. I gave five stars for cleanliness but would say it’s worth double that, absolutely spotless. Owners have thought of so much to make it perfect. It’s much better than the pictures so many nice touches and too many to mention.Short walk to the riverside if you talking a dog, PLAS YN DRE very close and dog friendly serves nice food. Good bakery close by. We loves the appartment and Bala, which is very friendly.”

“We were very pleased with the Old Barn and it is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It was well equipped and included things that we usually have to bring with us when staying away, such as washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, soap, salt and pepper. The hosts provided a pint of milk on arrival, with tea, coffee and sugar and some homemade bara breth which was lovely. They met us when we arrived and took us through everything from the recycling to using the FreetSat TV. It was……
