Eine traumhaft gelegene Mühle mit allem was man braucht. Auf dem grossen gepflegten Grundstück kann man viele Tiere beobachten und diverse verschiedene pflanzen bestaunen. Hat auch einen kleinen Gemüse und Kräutergarten wo man sich bedienen kann. Gute Betten und schnelles Internet. Sehr netter Vermieter.

Eine mit Geschmack umgebaute Mühle innerhalb eines grandiosen privaten Parks mit vielen Wasserflächen und etlichen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Komplett ausgestattet. Gute Betten. Schnelles Internet. Alle notwendigen Küchengeräte inklusive Nespressomaschine. Viele Ausflugsziele innerhalb einer guten Fahrstunde wie Ille de Re, La Rochelle, Rochfort, Niort. Auto allerdings für alle Verrichtungen erforderlich. Persönliches check in bei uns durch den Vater des Vermieters. Yohan kümmerte sich aber vorbildlich während unseres Aufenthalts um uns klärte Fragen sofort. Gerne wieder.

Excellent. Stunning location. Surrounded by water. A real get away from it all property. Huge plot surrounded by the river which wraps around the site, under and adjacent to the house. Watch kingfishers from the kitchen. Fish for pike, perch, trout and chub in the river which is teaming with fish. The interior is much better than the photographs suggest. There is little to do in the village as it is a very rural area but there are limited facilities in the next village Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which has a friendly little shop which sells basics but also sells beer and wine and pizzas ( very nice) and has a few tables and chairs where you can have a drink and mix with other tourists and locals. Good shopping nearby at Intermarché at Aulnay and even better at St Jean d’Angely where everything can be found including a good veterinary clinic. We drove from England and it is a long way but was well worth it. Unfortunately the weather was mixed and there is little to entertain you if the weather is poor as it is very rural. We had a great holiday and can recommend this property fully. The house is secure, hidden out of the way and very comfortable with good facilities, good WiFi, well equipped and presented. If you like birdwatching and fishing this is heaven. For anglers we caught good sized fish on fly, worms , maggots and lures. Bait is available in a fridge in the supermarket at Aulnay and a decent selection of tackle including lures, lines, hooks etc. Tight lines!

This is a fantastic property with everything you would need for a relaxing, peaceful stay away from home. The host was very welcoming and we felt right at home immediately. Everything we needed was in the property. We have stayed at several gites over the years and this definitely had the best provision of kitchen and laundry items, as well as items we would need for outdoors - loungers, a hammock etc.

Wir haben uns in der Mühle wie im Paradies gefühlt! Die idyllische Lage, der große Garten und die komfortable Ausstattung machen es perfekt für Entspannung und Erholung. Der Fluß bietet Möglichkeit zur Abkühlung, man kann mit der Sonne von Sitzplatz zu Sitzplatz wandern und hat stets einen großartigen Blick auf das Biotop mit vielen verschiedenen Tierarten. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

traumhaftes Haus und Grundstück, perfekter Vermieter. Sehr schöne Gegend auch zum Wandern und Radfahren (Touren gut vorgeschlagen aufcKomoot). Großer Supermarkt in Aulnay ca 10km entfernt, kleiner Laden direkt in Dampierre ca 1,5 km (mit täglich super leckeren Baguettes, Croissants, Fassbier, Pizza und englischsprachigem extrem netten Eigentümer.

Séjour familial paisible et authentique au cœur de la campagne

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet ancien moulin à eau plein de charme, situé au bord d'une petite rivière. Le grand jardin est idéal pour se détendre, et l'endroit est très calme, parfait pour se ressourcer à la campagne. Le logement est bien équipé : cuisine, salle de bain, barbecue... tout était propre et fonctionnel. L'accueil du propriétaire a été particulièrement chaleureux et attentionné. Une très belle découverte que je recommande sans hésiter pour les familles !

et au milieu d'un petit coin de paradis...coule une rivière

Séjour de 4 jours dans cette magnifique propriété, une douce impression de se mettre au diapason de la nature, bercés par le bruit de l'eau qui coule, tellement apaisant. Le moulin rénové avec beaucoup de goût est un lieu où nous nous sommes sentis "comme à la maison" ! Nous avons adoré cette échappée belle, parfaite pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. Enfin un grand merci à Yohann pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse et pour perpétuer l'histoire familiale de ce lieu enchanteur.Nous reviendrons, un printemps, pour redécouvrir la propriété dans son écrin de verdure !

Joli moulin, dans un bel environnement calme et dépaysant

Nous cherchions une maison avec une cheminée ou un poêle. Malheureusement contrairement au descriptif et la liste des équipements, celle-ci ne fonctionnait pas. A cette période de l'année c'est dommage, d'autant que la maison n'a été chauffée que le matin de notre arrivée. 2 jours ont donc été nécessaires pour apprécier le confort total du lieu.

Environnement au top, avec en plus le soleil au rdv. Le silence, l'aménagement paysager remarquable, la beauté aquatique qui entoure le moulin. Tout pour vous dépayser. Le propriétaire très avenant. Intérieur très propre avec une déco simple mais efficace. Manquait juste la cheminée opérationnelle, mais l'ensemble étant tellement magnifique..... Un grand week-end inoubliable.

Stunning mill and spectacular location

This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property.

Wonderful!

This property is simply fabulous! The plot is just stunning! Water running under the house, the river branching off, leaving little islands to wander round. The grounds are vast so we went running and the children were off exploring, fishing or splashing. Many hours spent reading by the river. It would not have been so relaxing with young children though (our youngest is 8 and we were happy to let her wander freely) so perhaps not best if you have toddlers due to the water. The host was wonderful; very friendly, kind and helpful. The property was spotless and very well equipped, the best we have stayed in. We enjoyed tomatoes from the vegetable patch and played games in one of many lovely areas to relax. Everything has been planned for ease and comfort. We would most definitely recommend this property 10/10!

Parfait :). Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans et autour de cette superbe maison. Si vous cherchez la détente, la vue sur la nature et le ciel nocturne magique, vous êtes au bon endroit. Parfait aussi pour les adolescents qui aiment pêcher, observer les poissons et les oiseaux ou jouer au ping-pong et qui ont besoin d'Internet de temps en temps ;). Trois chambres avec trois salles de bain permettent également la visite de deux familles avec 1 ou 2 enfants chacune. Des lits confortables, un bon équipement de cuisine et un hôte très attentionné. Nous reviendrons. Merci beaucoup!

Stunning property, relaxing and very peaceful

When you arrive at your holiday property and feel like you have won the lottery! Absolutely beautiful property and surroundings. Everything just perfect, comfortable bed, everything you could possibly need was provided included welcome gifts which shows how much thought goes into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. Yohann was only a call away if needed. Very private property, peaceful and very relaxing. We loved it that much we are returning in September! We honestly did not want to leave at the end of our holiday.
