The room was the space we needed and I enjoyed sitting in the courtyard area with my dog. The staff was very friendly and made our stay extremely pleasant.

Staff was so friendly and courteous, even despite our overly happy dog startled them. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was a step above the continental that everybody has. When coming through the area again…. We will definitely stop again.

I chose this property based on price and location to Monument Rocks. The staff was very welcoming, the room was spacious and clean. I highly recommend this location. It’s in the process of changing to a Wyndham facility so it can only get better.

There were computer issues when I checked in that took a long time to fix. The desk clerk was doing the best she could & was apologetic. Once I got checked in the room wasn’t ready because of issues with the tv. The desk clerk did put me in another room but that took more time. The staff was very friendly.

The manager/receptionist here was great! She was helpful and accommodating to requests. But the property needs some attention. Everything was clean enough, but there were several maintenance issues that need to be addressed.

The staff was very friendly upon arrival and departure. Our room was a larger room than normal and all 6 of us where comfortable. No bugs, clean and fresh smelling linens. A smaller breakfast but still a good variety of food.

There were few options to choose a hotel. They are routes where you have to stay in places like this. But for the price I paid $106, I found it very bad place.In fact, on the way back from my trip, I stayed for $60, in a nearby town and it was much better, clean and comfortable.I have to say that the reception was kind and friendly with us.

No elevator only outside stairs, my husband is handycap but they helped me carry the luggage upstairs. Very quiet and bed was comfy

Updating needed!

While the room was clean and the bed comfortable, carpet was threadbare, and duct tape was present in multiple places throughout the room. Room was cold and drafty (December) as doors did not close tightly allowing outside air in.

The hotel was not in very good shape holes in ceiling. Door has an opening around it. Bed was comfortable and clean but rest of room needs repairs

WHAT’S THAT SMELL???

Oakley the town itself smells terrible! It was a mystery smell but it was super pungent and everywhere. The room smelled musty, which gladly covered the outside smell. The staff was friendly at check in and at check out. Breakfast was what you might expect at a small motel. Other than the smell the room was acceptable. The one thing was that the smoke detector started chirping at 3:30am. I ended up having the climb on a chair to take it down and remove the battery. Overall not that great of an experience, but it was really just a place to sleep while driving through. I would pick somewhere else and another town if I was spending more than a few hours only to sleep, like I said.

A disappointing place to stay

When I arrived at the hotel, I originally booked and paid for a smoking room. I asked the guy behind the counter if it was a smoking room & at first he said “no smoking” and I said how I booked a smoking room and then he said “smoking okay”. When I got in my room, I was already smoking realizing there were no ash trays and when I went outside, sure enough…. No smoking signs on the door. Inside my room was infested with flies. I must have killed at least half dozen flies. The previous person who had the room must have left their sun glasses on the table. The guest survey was filled out by previous guest and not replaced for me to fill for my experience. The beds were comfortable. The fan was loud and noisy. Also the room was missing an attachment for the door lock. Not worth coming back again.
