Even has a deer herd living on the surrounding land. The single rooms were not very big, but adequate. The restaurant was closed at the time, had been closed for the summer, but was reopening in a few days. Beautifully laid out to keep the feel of a fortified manor. My only disappointment was the bed. My room had two singles pushed together, which is fairly normal in Germany. However these were two narrow wooden beds, with the frames higher than the mattress. Whilst the style was in keeping with the room, the actual sleeping space was limited, and I kept kicking the frame during the night.
