I liked this hotel so much that I want to move in! It has everything: old world charm and service with modern facilities and good restaurants at a very reasonable price. The pool area was great and sunset happy hour at the rooftop bar should not be missed! The buffet in the Horizon restaurant is unbelievable and cheap by US standards. The breakfast buffet included in my room rate was worthy of the five star resort that is the Kingsbury. All in all highly recommended.

This hotel has an old worldly charm about it. The buffet at breakfast and dinner is incredible and the staff very pleasant. A lovely touch having someone play the piano in the evening. Would stay again when visiting Colombo. They organised a great 4 hour city tuk tuk tour too which was fantastic.

Nice property with a great pool and buffet breakfast. Number of restaurants available for lunch and dinner. Staff were exceptional. Only complaint is the volume of the DJ by the pool in the evening. Could hear him inside our rooms later at night

The hotel is a very large and noisy one, with music at the outdoor pool area going on until midnight which made sleeping difficult. The buffet restaurant is excellent. Bed and rooms were comfy, and staff are very attentive but there was building work of some sort going on on the floor above, and I could hear something like a mouse or rat in the vents at night. Overall would stay elsewhere next time.

We stayed here for a night prior to leaving Sri Lanka from a 10-day trip. The hotel was very fancy, clean and modern and nicely decorated for Christmas. Across the Street from Dutch Hospital shopping and entertainment district. Service was great, and breakfast buffet was plentiful.
