Staff were excellent. Room faced onto very noisy street at night ( car racing) & unfortunately hotel undergoing renovations ( jack hammers, builders noise). We were advised of this AFTER our booking was made

Staff was very accommodating and friendly during our late check-in.
After booking our hotel, we received an email letting us know we will be right above a pub and suggested we upgrade to the boutique hotel on the back of the property. I didn’t think it would be a problem so I didn’t switch. Given the rainy, cool weather it was not a problem and we were fine. I could see that if the weather had been nicer, it would be too loud to sleep.
The location of the hotel was very nice and convenient!
