Our Villa, in the center of Colorado Springs, offers the comfort of your own home with a spectacular view of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains. Accommodations include 2 newly renovated bedrooms with queen-size beds. Bedrooms have large closets with hangers, and if needed, and iron and board. The West bedroom offers a great view of Pikes Peak. The kitchen, complete with a new refrigerator and dish washer, electric stove, has all the appliances and utensils, including a Keurig coffee maker and microwave. Look out the kitchen window and you’ll see beautiful Pikes Peak of Katherine Lee Bates’s memorial poem and song America the Beautiful.
The spacious dining area can seat 12, and the living room has a wide screen TV with Comcast services plus WiFi. The “Blue Room” easily serves as an office with a small desk and WiFi as well. The newly refurbished bathroom includes a full tub and shower, new lights and a vanity, a hair dryer, plus big towels and complimentary soaps and shampoo. The spacious veranda has a bar-b-que grill and a great view of the local neighborhood, Pikes Peak, and an occasional “urbanized” deer or fox may trot by for a photo-op for your Facebook trip news.
Our Villa, a non-smoking property nestled in a quiet neighborhood has a semi-circular driveway for safe and easy off-street parking. A short drive east you’ll find shopping for groceries, a bank, and the post office; to the south, about a mile, the Olympic Training Center, and a short hop to the west -- Colorado College. Our Colorado Springs airport is about 15 minutes away. Centrally located historic downtown Colorado Springs offers numerous restaurants, shops, entertainment, the Pioneers Museum, the Fine Arts Center, Monument Valley Park and numerous bike trials in the city and the foothills.

The house was big with plenty of room. Lacked a washer and dryer. Food was left in the refrigerator and freezer from previous tenants, and some of the cookware wasn’t very clean. Also, dogs next door barked a lot. I would stay in this vrbo again.

The house was perfect for the three of us for our annual Aunt Cindy Camp! My niece and nephew 8&12 loved being able to see our ultimate goal Pikes Peak on Monday!! My nephew really loved all the pamphlets which we left some others too! He found our 7 bridges hike that we took! I even left my crocs as we rushed out of the house and the host sent them to me! Don't bother
Upon arrival we were terribly disappointed with the condition of the house and property. It had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was mold in bath, poor plumbing in bath, stovetop uncleaned, dirty coffee cup left in cupboard, dining utensils had to be rewashed, dirty patio cushions, unkempt back yard and flies were throughout the kitchen, dining area and livingroon. The moths I could understand, due to the early migration, but the flies in the house were much worse. The front door lock and handle assembly needs replaced as it took several attempts to lock door each time we left property. After this experience, I do not plan on booking with vrbo.

Great value and location
The house was more than adequate for 2 couples. We enjoyed the view of Pike's Peak from the back porch and being 15 minutes from everything in Colorado Springs was a great bonus. Garden of the Gods, Downtown restaurants, Walmart all within a very short drive. I didn't expect a luxurious mansion for the reasonable rate, and the price fit the modest home very well.

The View
We had a view of Pike’s Peak and Garden of the Gods from a large covered porch, coffee in the morning, cocktails in the evening. The house was older, the furniture was eclectic but was a lovely home, centrally located. Nice stay!!!

Nice, Clean, Central Location
This place was a great find for the area, and very centrally located for the activities we had planned for our trip. The only downside is that Colorado Springs was having an unprecedented heat wave during our stay, and not all the windows had screens. What can you say, mother nature will do what she pleases. The property appears to be an older home, but well maintained. The views of Pikes Peak from the rear of the home were great every morning. If we return to the area, we will definitely look into this property again.

This was a nice old house that needs a little attention. Decent location, sturdy comfortable furniture, great covered patio, turbocharger of a heating system, but no AC. But, we wound up cleaning it before we could use it due to a couple unsavory finds.

Beautiful location
We had a wonderful experience at this home with the the property owners very helpful. It was a beautiful home. The only problem we had was was the temperature ranged from 83 to 91 while we were there and it was a little hard sleeping at night without at least a portable or window air conditioner or an attic fan. We realize that most homes in Colorado don't have one but for the 65 and older guests it would have been nice. However we would highly recommend this property.

Nice location and scenery
This house is in a neighborhood fairly close to down town. It has plenty of room and a nice back porch to drink your morning coffee while looking at the mountains. The house doesn't have air conditioning, and some of the windows don't have screens, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and the host was excellent.

PERFECT!
This place is great! My family stayed for a short vacation, and it couldn't have been nicer. The location is within close proximity to all the major sites and shopping. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is much bigger than I thought it'd be. Comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. There is an extra room that is a book lover's heaven. Beautiful views of Pike's Peak and mountain peaks out the back window. The owner stopped by and visited for a short time, but was respectful of our privacy, and helped with special requests. This is a great place, and I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to others.
