This was like the resort that time forgot. What was once, I’m sure, a glorious and grand family escape seems to have slipped through the fingers of “keeping up with the times”. While “outdated” isn’t necessarily a problem, there were many little fixes that were just overlooked and ignored, from stripping on the carpet transitions and even steps, to broken windows and certain areas with distinct smells of mustiness…aside from the fact that at check in at 4pm, we’d requested a roll away bed to which we had to seek out at least three more times before having one brought to our room well after 10 pm. The beds were comfy, but otherwise, meh. It served its purpose for us, but never again.

It was one time experience, I do not think I ever go there again.

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we walked through the door! We came for nascar race weekend and it was the absolute perfect place to lay our head after the races! It’s quiet and beautiful! The space also had everything we could’ve possibly needed! We wished we had more time to spend at the location and will definitely be back!
