“This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones! This is better quality then most hotels for the money with the exception of no running water and outside (clean) bathroom. So, if you see this and you are……

“This was mine and my husbands' first trip to Maine and Wanda made us feel right at home. She was always quick to respond and helpful with advise and recommendations. This little Dyers Bay cottage was such a nice place to come back to after an afternoon of exploring the area. We were blessed with perfect weather and temperatures and the sunsets were beautiful. We missed the sunrises because, being from KY, we never realized that it gets daylight at 4:30am, lol. We wish it was that way in KY :)……

“Myself and my family stayed at this property for a week. Had a few bumps when we first got there but the property manager was absolutely amazing. Responded immediately and got everything straightened out. The property is beautiful whether you are outside or looking out from inside. Was further than I thought from Acadia but we managed. No issues with the hot water and there were 6 of us. We had fun filled days and very peaceful relaxing evenings. Wonderful rental.”

“This cottage was just perfect for a quiet getaway. It was very clean and comfortable. Mary Jane was the best. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Close to Acadia National Park (2 hrs). Lubec and Eastport are just 30 minutes away. We would come back again”

Minor issues-could not get combination lock to work; call to managers gave us combo to key box-all good. Was a little disappointed with road between house and beach; little or no traffic-so really no issue. Should have been mentioned in AD. Lite in refrigerator inoperative-Tory fixed it-very personable. Apparently Sept. 23-30 is……

“If your looking for a cabin in the woods this is it! Very comfy cozy, has everything you need. Love that there's a canoe for a very peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful scenic crusie on the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay! Be aware of ticks, you may want to use tick spray when going out for walks.”

“The Bluebird Motel isn't fancy but it's clean and comfortable. As the only hotel within an easy drive of Eastport and Lubec that will take a dog it's a good choice for pet owners who want to visit the northernmost coast of Maine..”
