"We found a lake but would have been nice to have had directions and recommendations at the house. Top notch furnishings and bedding. Great kitchen supplies and appliances. Beautiful front and back porch. Only complaint I had was the cushions and back table were dirty with bird droppings also need grill brush. Overall everything was lovely."

"We stayed at this Vrbo on a cold winter day. Out our window was a beautiful sight: a snow laden forest with a winding brook. The bed was firm, the way we like it, and the heating system was noiseless keeping us toasty all night. There were cooking utensils, a small fridge, an induction hot plate, a microwave and a toaster which was all we needed for our cooking needs. When we arrived after a long drive I made myself a hot tea and relaxed on the big comfortable couch.I highly recommend this efficiency apartment for a very good stay in Eastern New York State."

"As a group of 10 friends, this house was everything we could have wanted. 5 bedrooms, a very large living room, and a dining table to fit all of us at once. Very close to Catamount, Hy’s Fried, Roe Jan brewery and more. Very clean for such an old house. "

"We spent Thanksgiving weekend here. It's the perfect rental! Beautifully renovated, comfortable, well stocked, beautiful views of the woods and Catamount. It's an ideal location for skiers and the area is a lovely getaway spot in the summer, too. We visited the nearby towns of Great Barrington and Hudson. The weather wasn't cooperating for a hike but I've heard there's a trail in the area that leads to a waterfall. I appreciated the excellent communication with property manager. We're thankful for a great weekend, visiting and entertaining family in this gorgeous location. "

"I really love this house. Clean, well-maintained, the kitchen's stocked with all the cookware and utensils that myself and my guests could want. The property is secluded and peaceful, the views are absolutely gorgeous, but at the same time it doesn't really feel like it's "in the middle of nowhere." Great Barrington nearby has plenty of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, and we checked out a few hiking trails nearby as well. Alan's a great host, friendly and communicative, and his welcome booklet and notes left around the house answered most of my questions before they even came up. My second stay won't be my last!"

"This was one of the most-special and memorable experiences my wife and I have ever had with a VRBO property and Owner. I had recently received a devastating medical diagnosis causing us to think about forfeiting our stay for 3 nights. After not checking in the 1st night, we decided to call Frank and let him know why we had not checked in but that we changed our minds and wanted to come for the last 2 nights as we needed the solitude and peace that his property on the lake might provide us. He called me himself and was most-gracious and understanding and offered us a full refund. When we declined his generous offer, he offered to have us stay a complimentary extra night or 2 as he wanted to help us and have us experience the special peace of the lovely home and the lake. It was everything we needed and we thank God for introducing us to Frank personally and for the blessing that he was to us as well as the respite we received by experiencing his Little Piece of Heaven.
