It awaits you a few steps from the historic center and next to the ancient Porta Torre, a magnificent example of medieval military architecture. Here you will find all the accessories and services necessary to make your stay unique and unforgettable. One of the many features of this suite is the luxury of having a private garage, at no extra cost. You can enjoy your holiday without stress, avoiding spending tens of euros a day for parking in the city. Furthermore, the area is extremely safe, with one of the main shopping streets right on your doorstep. You will find restaurants, bars, shops and even a bakery that produces delicious bread and sweets, as well as a very convenient pharmacy just in case. Just five minutes on foot you will find the Como Borghi station of TRENORD, which will take you to Milan and Malpensa airport. In ten minutes you will reach the boat station on the lake, while the bus stop is only 30 meters from the house. The apartment is very bright, graceful and is located on the second floor. Apartment was beautiful, great location (near Old Town, train station), and host Stefania was extremely accommodating. Lots of great places to eat nearby (Stefania will provide recos). Host also provided a welcome gift of wine and snacks. We used the garage which was a couple of blocks away. Walking distance to everything....cafes, restaurants, supermarket and public transport (we didn't have a car). Lake Como is only a 15min walk through the old city walls. Alfredo and Stefania are very kind and helpful hosts and easily contactable for any help required. They made our stay very comfortable.
