“Very good location with easy walk to town centre and Ferry. We're just there for one night. Getting access was easy, communication exactly what we needed. Facilities spot in. Exactly what we needed and as described.”

“Our stay at the Cottage in the woods was amazing and I wish we had booked for longer. I travelled with four teens and a dog and the property was perfect. A beautifully decorated and well laid out property that had everything we needed and more. Beautiful outdoor seating and cooking options, arrived to the fire going and a welcome basket. The hosts were very welcoming and so accommodating, especially helpful after my dog rolled in a big and I needed to fully wash him down. I cannot rate this……

“Sound apartment, spacious, good value for money, well appointed and a pretty view of the harbour. Very low low pressure shower. Poor description of parking as described with parking and none besides difficult public parking options are available. Short stay this was good enough for our family.”

“Ground floor apartment behind the distillery and directly across from 10 rubbish bins. To combat the smell, pungent chemical air freshers are used (without success). We only stayed here 2 nights and every morning there was a trash collection. Since it is behind the distillery, many trucks also passed right by our front window. Also had issues with our door locking but the lovely cleaning ladies helped coordinate. Very central location in oban. Metered lot and metered street parking close-by.……

“This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. We particularly enjoyed the local walks from the resort which we purchased from reception for £1 on arrival. “We booked at the last minute fir 2 nights as we were delayed sailing to Isle of Barra due to bad weather. Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great. Most important the staff were just so helpful, they could not do enough. We are already recommending to friends.”
