I messaged to confirm an arrival time but no one was there and no one answered the phone when we called multiple times. We eventually had to find the check in for the hotel (not the apartments) ourselves. Positives: convenient location But that’s it Negatives: No lift No air conditioning - it was so hot in the room it was like a sauna. We had to go back to reception and beg for a fan which to be honest did very little. Midges- the room window had been left open and there were midges in the room when we arrived. We had to get them out and close the window. The lack of any sort of net on the window meant we couldn’t open it for the duration of our stay. Condition of the room: run down and the bathroom was in particularly bad condition. Both the toilet roll holder and the towel rail were on the verge of falling off. There was also only half a roll of toilet paper so we had to again go to reception to get this and then walk it back down the street to the apartment. Power shower - you have to click the power on for the shower before you enter and then switch it on and these notoriously have terrible water pressure. On street parking was reasonably priced. I am sure they are going to do a zhoosh up in the offseason as parts a bit chipped/tired esp the shower stalls.
