"Me and my girlfriend traveled for the Afro nation festival sow we needed a place “close”to the praia da Rocha beach I must say the the staff were friendly and polite also any problems we had that we voiced were taken care of for the most part I still recommend that the place modernize itself because you can see that it’s decor is from the late 90’s "

On the dark side , the beach is around 35 min walk, there was no air conditioner (had two fans instead), facilities was very basic and rooms are small.
Overall was good for the price."

"Basic but reflects in price. The rooms were absolutely freezing and there was no duvets provided, just a thin sheet and weirdly a curtain to cover yourself. It was so cold in the night my daughter was waking up crying, they really need some heaters or duvets. Lady on the desk was friendly."

"Really comfortable and clean room with lots of options for breakfast and water fountain available all the time. The pool was nice and it was close to the beach. The parking outside the hotel was often full however there was free on street parking although this can get busy during the day with people going to the beach. There were lots of food options around and we enjoyed the breakfast there were lots of options!"

"We’ve just arrived home after staying here and it was amazing! Everything about it was lovely. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful, the pool was great, the reception area was so beautifully decorated and clean, the location was great you could walk into Praia da Rocha which was around 15 minutes. Our deluxe apartment was spotless, very comfy bed and had everything you needed in the kitchen area. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout.
I highly recommend Vista Marina. We cannot wait to return! "

"This hotel had a lot of space, with nice apartment style rooms. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the terrace and the view from the room. There is a great pool. This is walking distance to the ocean and beaches but we didn't love the area because it is so busy and touristy. The hotel itself was amazing. Good internet too. "

Whilst I understand hotels need to remain open to keep the cash flowing whilst renovating, I wish hotels would make this clear when booking as there were plenty of other hotels we could have chosen instead or compared the price accordingly.
Sister hotel was across the road which needed to be used.
