Copper Harbor Haven

The place was very clean and comfortable to stay at. Comfy beds, nice kitchen/living/bath room, fast internet and great location. Host was very nice and quick to respond to inquiries. Would definitely stay here again for my next Copper Harbor trip!

Happy Place

A cozy, clean cottage with all the amenities of a four star hotel. I loved the gas fireplace on cooler mornings to take the chill off, and the AC later as the days became hot. The location is ideal, walk to everything but still away from the busy areas. I got to watch the Fourth of July parade from the deck.Easy to access, good communication with the host. I would love to try a winter stay next.

Ski Trip with our Dog

Great location, super close to Mount Bohemia. So many hiking trails to take our dog to in the morning. The skiiing was unbelievable. Looking forward to going back.

Perfect Home Base in CH

We loved the Bear Den! We walked down to the water in the mornings and biked all day. It was nice being able to stop by the cabin to refuel quickly. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking. We will definitely stay again!

Great location

This is a great cabin in Copper Harbor with walking access to everything in town. It is clean, well equipped and very nice. If you are looking for the Ritz keep walking. This is a great property with a great host.

Another Wonderful Stay

I've stayed at the Bear Den on numerous visits. Sometimes just myself and my dog, other times with a few family members. Clean, comfortable and convenient to the many sites in the area I love to return to. It absolutely works for me and is my "go to" place when visiting Copper Harbor.

We liked the satellite tv and the A/C. Convenient in town location. Beds were comfortable. Door lock with code was much nicer than keeping track of a key. No complaints. Would return.

Perfect for what we were looking for

My brother and I took a trip to Mt Bohemia. Cabin was About 20 minutes to the ski hill and cabin was perfect for us two. Pretty much just your basics but for the cost, fit our needs perfectly. Had no problem with the check in or check out process. Overall would recommend and would book again.

Clean and comfortable

We found the cabin to be clean and in very well- cared for condition. Perfect for two people. It was well supplied with all of our needs. Nice sized bathroom and a kitchen that seemed fairly recently updated. A bit of traffic noise early, but none noticed later evening and never disturbed our sleep. We were comfortable and secure and can highly recommend.

Pros:The area was fantastic. The owner was quick to respond. Property was clean and the kitchenware was ample. Cons: Beds are very firm. The refrigerator froze some of our food/ruined it. The kitchen knives need an upgrade. Overall, the place was warm, cozy and clean. I would stay there again. Thanks for the hospitality.

Bear Den!

This was our second trip to Copper Harbor. Last year we stayed at a property on Lake Medora. We loved it but opted to stay in Copper Harbor this trip for walkability, easy access to the town and the trails. The Bear Den fit the bill perfectly for us. My son could hit the bike trails, I could bike or drive to the beaches for rockhunting, ride our bikes to dinner, etc. also, the place was very clean on arrival, small but doable given how much time we actually spent indoors. Check in was easy, communication was a breeze too. 2 of us were very comfortable there for 10 nights
