The front porch has a gorgeous view of Lake Superior and the lake front is just a short walk away. There is a private pond on the property. Our group consisted of my husband, his mom and dad, my mom, and our three teenage children. My father-in-law grew up in this area and we wanted to bring him back to share it with his grandchildren. The house accommodated us well. We had the older adults sleep in the bedrooms on the first floor, and the younger ones slept upstairs. The beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a bonus with our group of eight. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make all meals easily. We even pulled the charcoal grill out of the garage for a cookout. We did bring our own charcoal and lighter fluid. The sound of the waterfall behind the backyard was relaxing and was heard throughout the property. We enjoyed the sunsets each night over Lake Superior. We used the park across the street and played pickle ball. We happened to have our own paddles with us. The courts are a bit weathered and well used, but it was still fun. Overall, this property was relaxing and suited our family well and we would stay again in the future if we travel this way. ##### Melissa W. The house was clean, comfortable, and ready to relax we when arrived. With a toddler accompanying us, it was a godsend to have a working washer and dryer! The fire ring that was mentioned in the listing was grown up in grass and weeds, but we made due when it was time for s'mores. The view of lake superior was absolutely gorgeous and the waterfall behind the house made for some very soothing background noise. The locals are friendly and the beaches are well kept.
