"For our 2024 girls trip, we decided to find a property near water with a hot tub. This Current River getaway was absolutely perfect and beautiful for our group this year. The house was set for a medium to larger group. Plenty of space (love the open living room), and the large deck out back was perfect for morning coffee and evenings watching the water. The kitchen had a ton of pans, spices, and items available for use, which helped out planning for meals after we got there. Our girls trip focus around the hot tub which gave us a wonderful view of the sunset and river at night, and a lovely way to wake up with coffee bright and early in the brisk morning. Even though it was only 3 nights, we were figuring out how to plan for the next visit we loved it so much! We loved being so close to both the river and places to see and visit, in Doniphan and in Van Buren. We drove very easily to Big Spring, Rocky Falls, and Alley Spring. The Rocky River Resort, just up the road, was an EXCELLENT outfitter for floating the river. We enjoyed a 7 mile float on the Current."

"This was a wonderful stay! The home was exactly what we needed. We brought our four kids to see the total eclipse, and I couldn't be more pleased with everything! The beds were comfy, and the place was tidy. Everything we needed was readily available. It's not a huge home, but well laid out and efficient. The town was tiny and not a lot there, but Pocohontas was just 10 minutes down the road with groceries and a nice park and river walk. I would not hesitate to stay again if we were ever in the area."

"Everything is as listed. It was clean. Super spacious and would be comfortable for multiple people. One of the beds is in the main living area. Everything is furnished nicely. Great parking. We didn't cook so I can't review the supplies. We did hear some noise from downstairs for just a little bit in the morning and at night we heard minor street noise, but it didn't bother us at all. The coffee shop downstairs isn't open on the weekends. I can not imagine that there is a nicer place to stay in Doniphan, none of the motels look as nice as The Loft. I would 100% recommend a stay here."

"Big shoutout! While other hotels got greedy and vastly increased their rates for the eclipse, this hotel honored the rate agreed to when I made my reservation a year in advance. The staff was absolutely superb! They were as friendly as you can get. Loved our stay! "

"First off…let me start by saying this property is AMAZING! The location is beautiful. The current river is just steps away from the very large deck, that is wonderful to spend time on. The gas fire pit, on the deck, worked out really well for our kiddos to roast marshmallows and sit around to enjoy some s’mores. Our kids loved the little swimming area, and catching all the bluegill off the bottom of the dock too! The house! It’s beautiful! EXTREMELY spacious for a large family. The house is COMPLETELY a stocked with everything you need, plus TONS of extras. The house has board games, and a chocolate fountain that we all really enjoyed with the kiddos! The game room is fun with pool and other activities to do. The grocery store is a short drive. Dana was so friendly and easy to communicate with and made sure everything was just right for our visit! It was perfect for our weekend getaway with our family and can’t wait to come back!"
