Travel insurance can be purchased through VRBO or directly through Generali. Now allowing Flex Stays for all of 2026, with a 3-night minimum! Located in Corolla / 3 Bedrooms / 3 Full Bathrooms Accessible by 4 x 4 vehicle only! Experience the charm of Carova beach, renowned for it's clean and wide beaches, offering easy beach access and of course the wild horses of the northern beaches that roam free! Ground Level: Exterior amenities include an outside shower, covered patio, 2 picnic tables, sun deck and a gas grill. Inside you'll find a den with a flat screen TV and a nook with arcade video game. Bedroom with 2 Singles and a full hall bathroom. Laundry area with washer, dryer and utility sink. Top Level: Great room with flat-screen TV and sound bar. Kitchen with counter seating for 5 and the dining area seating 4\. King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV and private bathroom, Queen Bedroom and a full hallway bathroom. Extras: Two 4x4 parking passes (with $50 cash deposit), 3 TVs, sound bar, outside shower, high speed internet, gas grill, 2 picnic tables, arcade game, Keurig & Traditional coffee makers, air fryer, frisbee golf, corn hole, sun deck, covered patio and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. Dogs Welcome (3 max). Flex Stay Year-Round (3 Night Minimum). Beds: King, Queen, 2 Singles. House Address: 1701 Midland Road, Corolla. Distance to beach access: 1045'. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1023 Ocean Trail, Corolla Office. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub. 4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive vehicles such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand. Carova Beach is convenient for families because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive vehicle brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and enjoy the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and enjoy the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and lots of waterfowl on the sound. Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are included with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County (https://currituckcountync.ticketspice.com/currituckbeachparking) The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center (500 Hunt Club Drive). We were stuck on the porch once waiting to go to dinner, but who can complain when the back up is the main attraction. Woke up on our last day to have more behind the house. Toilet clogged! We arrived at the 4 pm check-in time to a house that was not cleaned following the previous guests stay. Even the toilet was clogged. Management company called Brindley Beach said the cleaning company truck broke down but nobody called to let us know. We had to wait into the night for the house to be cleaned. They also said the horse manure at the front door was not their problem.
