"Great location to base out of for visiting all the Normandy sights. Jenny with her furry friend Honey made for a wonderful greeting after a day of travel from the US. She is an amazing host filled with a vast knowledge of the area that helped us fine tune our adventures. "

"We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"

In the heatwave we managed to keep cool enough by arranging air to come in through open windows, but keeping shutters almost closed. "Die FeWo liegt sehr ruhig in dem kleinen Örtchen Goustranville, im Weiler Hameau de St. Clair, mittig in der Küstenregion der Normandie. Zur Autobahn sind es nur fünf Minuten, um Ziele wie Rouen (80 km), Mont St.Michel (150) oder – wenn man will – Paris (200) zu erreichen. Lokale Attraktionen wie die faszinierenden kleinen Örtchen Beuvron-en-Auge und Cambremer oder auch der Strand sind nah dabei. "Well what can I say our stay was simply lovely. The photos do not capture the magical element of Les Patis. The properties charm was delightful. Tony and Pat are both great hosts and could not do enough for our family to make sure our stay was special. Tony even set up a DVD and TV in the communal room by the pool, for all the children staying in the Gites. Our children loved making friend's and now have pen pals in Hamburg, Dublin, and Wigan. The other friendly families made it just a fab...
