"We stayed at this property for one night when the air space closed at Barbados airport due to an air traffic controller strike. Pros: beautiful clean property, stunning beach view rooms, great food and drink & friendly serving staff. Cons: check in process painful and daunting. I understand that day was chaotic but we had a paid reservation and just kept getting bumped by people that had checked out and returned to the hotel due to cancelled flights. When we first arrived they said they couldn’t guarantee we would get our rooms even though we had a paid in full reservation. After waiting over 2 1/2 hours in the lobby and finally pushing to get rooms at 4:00 to utilize the facilities we paid for we finally got in at 5:00pm. It was a stressful day not knowing if we had a place to sleep that night. In the end, we loved the resort and the service staff at the bars, coffee bar, Elements restaurant and especially Nikoli who was great at being very attentive to our needs. Also a great big thank you to the chef at Elements for providing information on gluten free options on the buffet and a special dessert. "

"We had our wedding at The Crane Resort in Barbados and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely stunning — from the breathtaking ocean views to the beautifully maintained grounds, everything felt like a dream setting for a wedding. The restaurants were all fantastic, with delicious food and great service throughout our stay. Every meal felt special, and our guests kept commenting on how much they loved the dining options. A very special thank you to Tamesha, our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our day exactly what we wanted. Thanks to her, the entire wedding process was smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to celebrate such an important moment in our lives. Thank you to everyone at The Crane Resort for helping create memories we’ll cherish forever. "This hotel was perfectly situated overlooking the ocean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. We had a car so able to travel to all sights but there are taxis and a shuttle from hotel to closest town. We would stay here again."

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. I had to advocate for myself and explain that I had a valid confirmation number and nowhere else to go. To her credit, she ultimately found a solution — another couple who had also booked that day agreed to share their two-bedroom unit with me, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience left me uneasy. When I asked for a glass of tap water, I was told she didn’t have any and was offered a bottle of water for $2. I explained I was running low on cash since I hadn’t planned to still be in Barbados. She eventually did give me a bottle of water, but the fact that her first instinct was to charge a stranded traveler for water was off-putting. Everything worked out in the end, but the process was stressful and unwelcoming. If you’re booking here, just know that there may be a disconnect between what the booking system reflects and actual availability — and that the hospitality experience may be inconsistent. Future travelers should keep that in mind. "
