"I did not get the tent I reserved. The description for the 10-day reserved indicated it had a lake view as well as a toilet. Having a toilet was very important to us; it is the primary reason I booked. The lake view was a bonus I was willing to pay extra for. However, the tent we were assigned to had neither of these. And because there was no internet or phone service at the site, there was no way for me to contact the host and rectify the situation upon arrival. Thus, we stuck it out. The...

Lake Wedowee Privacy

8/10 Good

"Great location in secluded area. Beautiful scenery and great movie options in the house. The host responds very quickly to any requests. Having the option to use the kayaks and canoe were great too. Things to improve on: they need to clean better, lots of dust, cobwebs, bugs, etc. The water tasted weird and metallic. I think adding a water filter on the kitchen sinks would be a good addition. Upgrade the mattresses, a couple of the rooms had pretty thin mattresses."

Cozy Lake Wedowee Home with Private Dock, 2 slips and 100 ft of lake frontage

10/10 Excellent

"An unforgettable fall getaway with an amazing host!We had the most memorable stay at this beautiful lake house, and it is all thanks to our wonderful host, Angie! From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and welcoming! The home’s interior is absolutely gorgeous, with cozy log-cabin charm, a stunning stone fireplace, and thoughtful autumn decor that made us feel right at home. The outdoor space is just as impressive; the massive covered porch was our favorite spot to relax with a cup of coffee and take in the water views. The absolute highlight of the trip, however, was the private dock. My husband spent hours fishing right off the edge and caught a massive catfish! Having the covered dock setup made it so comfortable to hang out by the water all day. We made unforgettable memories here and highly recommend this slice of paradise! We will definitely be back!"

The “Wood”shop, 2 bedroom loft apartment on a quiet cove.

10/10 Excellent

"The home was beautiful, very clean, and exactly what we needed for our stay. The host was great and very helpful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because Wi-Fi was not available during our stay, which was a little inconvenient. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!"

"THE CRESCENT" - Lakefront heaven w/ big views, sunset, private cove & hot tub

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely incredible stay. This home is so spacious!! We came with my siblings to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. I don’t think it could’ve gone better. There’s plenty of room for multiple families with children. Bunk beds are great! Pack and plays fit in the large closets for young kids to nap in peace. There’s plenty of living room seating between the 3 living rooms. The paddle boards were so fun for all ages. The screened in porch by the water is amazing!! Loved having a coffee pot and a keurig. Check in was a breeze. Great communication from the host! Cannot wait to stay here again!"

Upscale Lake House: Private Dock, Fire Pit, Chef’s Kitchen, & Game Room

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed for three nights at Lake Wedowee. The property was exceptionally clean and inviting. We enjoyed using the Blackstone grill and cooked dinner on it all three nights. Shawn was very communicative insuring that we were pleased after check-in and available if/as needed throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and available."

Charming 2-bedroom, 2 bath home near hunting and outdoor adventure.

10/10 Excellent

"Beautifully decorated very clean property, only draw back was 2nd bedroom (bunk room) very tight for an adult. We just shared the master bedroom. Great outdoor area. We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything in the cabin was of highest quality."
