With far reaching views over the surrounding countryside, this quaint, boutique, character cottage idyllically sits in the beautiful village of Goudhurst. With plenty to do and see on your doorstep, nearby Bedgebury National Pinetum, Sissinghurst Castle Garden and Scotney Castle are all within equal distance, a 10- minute drive away, or simply explore the surrounding countryside on foot.

The cosy wood burner is an enviable feature during the winter months, or, during summer, wander through the stylishly refurbished kitchen to the enclosed courtyard for a glass of something cool. Beautifully finished, the master bedroom could quite easily be compared to a boutique hotel, with tones of grey from the wallpaper, the warming yellow throw and exquisitely embroidered cushions tastefully styled together. You will enjoy the views through the shuttered windows out across the churchyard beyond. As you ascend to the second floor, glimpse out over the rooftop to the views of green fields, which are at their best from the delightful second bedroom. This bedroom is ideally situated, complete with a telescope ideally placed for you to fully appreciate the countryside backdrop, or for star gazing in the evening, through the Velux windows.

This idyllically situated, character cottage is the perfect countryside retreat with everything you could need on your doorstep, and ideally placed for touring this beautiful part of Kent.

Lovely Cottage
A cosy cottage with a ‘home from home’ ambience. Caroline & Mark have thought of everything; a well equipped kitchen, lots of reading material relating to the locale, maps, walks and games. We wished we had booked for a longer stay, but intend to return in order to visit the many places of interest that are close by.

Comfortable Cottage in the heart of Kent
Church View Cottage is a carefully furnished cottage with a great attention to detail. Every comfort has been considered and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our week in Kent and Sussex. We highly recommend this accommodation. Parking behind the church is not a big issue and sound proofing is very good on the main road.

Cosy cottage well situated to explore the High Weald
We have stayed in many cottages across the UK and I have to say this is one of the best equipped and maintained we have visited - well done to the owners they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Super stay at Church View Cottage
We had a wonderful week at Church View cottage. Caroline and Mark were super hosts and we felt truly spoiled with the lovely welcome gifts. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. It was a real pleasure to spend time here and I would highly recommend to anyone who fancies a Kentish getaway. You won't be disappointed!

Exceptional property….small cottage with everything you could wish for….and more!
There is nothing negative I could say about this lovely cottage, full of character & well equipped with high quality furnishings & equipment. I accidentally left my Kindle behind & Caroline (owner) very kindly posted it back to me free of charge. I would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone & have already recommended it to some friends.

Kent Cottage
A tastefully decorated, spotless village cottage with everything you need for a few days holiday. There is a pub over the road if you don’t feel like cooking and local shops to buy food if you do. On Wednesdays the pizza van stops down the road. Situated in an area where there is everything from vineyards to manor houses, castles to gardens and many country walks I really am not sure why we have not spent time in Kent before. We would certainly recommend it.
