Pros: Area felt safe and secure. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shower was perfect (water pressure was strong and water was nice and hot). Cons: Bed was a little too firm for me. Didn't use any of the amenities like gym or pool to comment on those. Overall stay was 8.5/10. Would stay here again.

Friendly staff, warm and welcoming. Clean room, comfortable bed, and very quiet! Linens were fresh, great shower. Pool is clean, nice outdoor lighting to sit in the evening.

The rooms were clean and updated for the most part. I had to change rooms because of inadequate hot water. My new room had plenty of hot water but the smoke alarm was taken down and not replaced for some reason. The USB ports on the table lamps were broken but I was able to borrow a wall charger from the front desk. At no fault to the hotel of course but I had to postpone my check in because of storm related power outages and road closures. Overall my stay was comfortable. I will most likely stay there again in the future.

Breakfast was good, the usual hotel breakfast. Our stay was very good, safe, quiet, and reasonable. The only thing I would mention the bathroom was small, but very clean.

While the place is an old motel the owners have done a great job of updating the inside with high end sink bowls and ceramic showers. The continental breakfast always included biscuits and gravy as well as waffles and other options. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and answer any questions.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel appreciated. The room was pretty clean and the bed was firm but comfortable. None of the power outlets on the bedside end table worked. The available power outlets were very minimal. The room had what we needed and we were comfortable. The continental breakfast was appreciated and filled our need. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay and were comfortable. Keep up the good work!

LONG REVIEW ALERT! The only disappointment was breakfast, it wasn’t bad, just expected more, otherwise, this place was a PLEASANT surprise. My family stayed here, years ago, before it was renovated, and it was enjoyable then as well. Every year we have a family reunion, in the next county, so we are always in VA. We usually travel two counties over; which, is further away from the festivities & family. I finally was able to book here, for a great price and it was well worth the stay. Although we didn’t stay long enough to really enjoy the pool, however, it was nice and the wood canopy helped with the coverage from the sun. If you are looking for a place to stay, for comfort, cleanliness, courteous, friendly staff, and convenience, this is your place.

I am working in the area and motels are hard to find. However, we found this motel on Expedia and decided to give it a try. It was clean and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was good and everything that you expect. Also, the restaurant next door was great and again the staff were really friendly and on point. I was extremely satisfied with my experience and especially with the price.
