"We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The host’s communication was timely and efficient, we also appreciated the early check-in and the option to store our luggage after check-out. However, we encountered an unexpected issue. The property is spread over two levels, upon arrival, we naturally explored the space. There are three doors downstairs—two locked and one leading to the laundry room, which was unlocked. Assuming the washing machine was available for guest use, we did a load of laundry...

"Great location and such a great home! Everything at the home as described on the posting. Silvia's restaurant recommendations are great! And she was so helpful in the run-up to our arrival. Just a small piece of feedback and a heads-up for other folks is accessing the parking space for the house, although plenty of room when inside the gate, getting thru the gate with a 9 seater Transit van size vehicle is a little tricky..... definitely doable just a little tricky! Not sure what Silvia...

"Bal-na-Coille has everything you need a real home from home. The accommodation throughout is excellent. The surrounding area is beautiful and we were really lucky to have sunshine throughout our stay. So spent lots of time sitting out on the veranda and sunning ourselves in the garden, Killin is a lovely village and we would recommend the Courie Inn for dinner, very dog friendly."

"We loved Kay and Jim's beauful house and particularly the lovely outside seating area looking out across Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps. We were fortuate to have uncharacteristically spectacular weather for Argyll and got out and about to many beautiful gardens, woodlands, lochs and towns. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with everything we needed. Many thanks"
