“This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. There are a lot of interesting pictures and items on the walls that give one the impression that you are a visitor in someone’s home. “What a wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh! It was so spacious, light, VERY clean, and well stocked! This was our family’s favorite accommodation during our UK trip, and my teen/tween daughters kept raving about how nice it was. We appreciated the many bedrooms and bathrooms and space to spread out. We had one of the bedrooms upstairs set up with two twin beds, instead of a king, which worked well for kids sharing the room. The beds and pillows were comfortable. “My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. ”

“Kath and Ross were wonderful hosts. Communication was exceptional. Place is exactly as advertised. Location is just a 5 minute walk to all St Andrews has to offer; shopping, restaurants, harbor, Abbey etc. gas station less than a quarter mile away. Food stores Aldi and Morrisons about a mile away. Just a splendid location. Highly recommend and will stay here again when we return! ”

“Lovely garden to enjoy and games room was an added bonus! We all had a great time!”

“Accommodations were as represented in the listing. Plenty of hot water. Excellent location in town with great views out the windows of the second story master window. Washer was convenient as you could do an extra spin and drain and then air dry thinner clothing. There were some limited spices for cooking. Parking was available every time although late at night probably would have had difficulty getting parking across the street.I would stay here again with a family and looking at the hotels in...
