"Pros: We were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment in the same block. The apartment is very spacious with an attractive terrace and fabulous view of Pico island. It is very tastefully furnished with antiques which have been lovingly restored. Dora was very kind and communication with her was excellent. She left us a lovely welcome hamper of local food. Highly recommended property. Cons: Only the weather!"

Als wir ankamen (Anfang Mai) waren die Temperaturen zwischen 11 und 17 Grad, mit wenigen sonnigen Abschnitten und dann höheren Temperaturen. Das Haus verfügt über keine Heizung, dementsprechend war die Temperatur im Inneren bei 16 Grad und über 80% Luftfeuchtigkeit. "The hotel was well located close to everything. The room was a big ions but the bed was confortable and quiet. When we entered our room the first day the fridge was not working but they changed our room. The breakfast buffet was included. The first 4 mornings it was good with all you need but the last day it was awfull, no yogourt, many things were missing so it left us with a mixed feeling. So this is why our review is not better."

"A very nice hotel in a great location. Close to the port, however be prepared for a steep climb or a 15 min walk around. The staff were awesome and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. The dinner buffet was also good, but make a reservation. The pool area and bar/restaurant were excellent. Joao was very nice and courteous.The cons are the beds..... Extremely hard and firm... A/c in the rooms is not good either.Not enjoyable. We were a multigenerational family of 6. Seniors to teenagers."
