If you want to escape this is perfect spot. It is relaxed, unpretentious, friendly and a lovely setting. Evening entertainment will be a puzzle or a swing in your hammock rather than a cabaret.

Beautiful location. Very helpful staff and excellent twice daily yoga sessions. If you’re coming here to have an active break it’s probably not the place as there are very limited options. Kayaking & SUP available and one bush trail up the hill. Food was excellent ! Not really the place for a solo traveller. Rooms not cleaned particularly well. Thick dust on top of air con unit and dead bugs around every day in room which came through the rafters. Didn’t bother me but probably would for other guests Very expensive transfers to get to the Island. All in all, perfect for 2 nights but 5 was too many.

Our stay was just ok. The trash was still full and in the kitchen from the previous guest, there were dead roaches, there were dirty popsicle sticks by the pool. The coffee machine didn’t work either. A staff member did drop a different one by after I let them know. We also had the doorbell ring at 2am and wake everyone in the house… apparently this is common when the batteries run low? Seems like they should be routinely changed to prevent that from occurring. None of these issues are big, but combined are quite a few blunders considering we paid top dollar to stay here.

Lovely infinity pool. Shame it’s not heated. This the jewel in the crown. Nice enough apartment. Could do with more glasses but actually the kitchen is quite decent. Bathroom needs a deep clean and the balcony door could be more secure. Would recommend and stay again though, although it’s quite pricey compared to some other nearby blocks.

We were very disappointed with our stay. Even though we informed the hotel in advance that it was my wife’s birthday, there was no acknowledgment at all. We didn’t expect anything extravagant, but even a simple birthday card or a handwritten “Happy Birthday” note would have been a thoughtful gesture. There was no cake, no bottle of champagne, and no effort to make the occasion feel special. Overall, the service and attention to detail were very poor, and the experience was far below our expectations. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had.
