"This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for us to spread out. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit out back, and several nights in the hot tub. Wi-Fi access was great , and the kids had access to Netflix after a day on the water, or after Mammoth Cave. We did have to relocate the coffee, pot as the two outlets near the stove would not work.The helpful tips in the guidebook, plus Sandra’s messages gave lots of information about the area. We ended up renting a boat from Moutardier for two days. The hike to and from the dock is a bit steep, but I get the impression the rental is still in progress as far as landscaping & dock access. Nolin Lake is beautiful with tons of wildlife. Very peaceful. Overall, this is a great property. We would definitely return."

"Without making this review ridiculously long, I have to start by saying that our family chose to do something different this year. For the past 14 years, we have always vacationed at the beach with our kids, so choosing a lake location was risky for us as parents. However, we all had such a blast that the kids are already asking to come back again next year! We swam, we kayaked, fished, and went out on our little boat. Spent many nights playing pool and enjoying time by the fire. Thanks to the suggestions from the welcome book at the house, we booked horseback rides for the last day and it’s something we’ll never forget! I also need to mention how great it was to bring our dogs along, who are also family, and enjoy our time with them. The house is amazing. It has everything you need and we cooked all but one meal there. The owners are very responsive and I thank them for sharing their property with us!"
