Arriving at the Kilkenny Boutique Hotel, the area, building, and initial impressions are wonderful. The staff member who helped me check in was very friendly and helpful. I did have an issue, however, because I requested a wheelchair accessible room and was not assigned to one. It was resolved on-site, but the staff mentioned that they weren't aware of such a request. I'm not sure if this is the website or hotel at fault, but everyone should be aware to call the hotel directly to confirm before your stay. Messaging through the website did not help. I love the decoration and style of the place, and the bar and café have amazing food. My two other problems are that: 1) There were dead mosquitos in various places in our room (bed, pillows, etc.), and there are no proper outlets to plug your items into. There was an extension cord, but it doesn't work on adapters.
