“What a beautiful little cabin plopped down in the tiny village of Ballyvaughan! A stand alone structure with a kitchen / living room combo, a bedroom and a bathroom. There was a little table and 2 chairs on the small front porch we had coffee on a few mornings too. PERFECT for our 4 days there. We shopped at the little market in town for breakfast items and a dinner meal. We did Mr. Kebab for take away one night (large fries are LARGE!). We at in Limerick (at Dolans - highly recommend!)……

“We only stayed for one night but the place was great. It has a beautiful view and was an easy walk to the pubs downtown. It is also less than 10 minutes from the beach. The host was super responsive and even offered some recommendations on where to eat. I would highly recommend! Please note that very good directions are provided to find the house. We relied on just the GPS instructions initially and were unable to locate it until we read the directions provided! The bonus is private parking……

“Check in was mostly quick, although we had to call to get the code for the key lock. The apartment was clean and spacious. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The showers were hot. There was tea and a fast- working tea kettle, as well as a coffee maker, plenty of pots, pans, glasses, dishes etc.. It was somewhat cold, and we couldn’t get the heat on. There is no lake view, which was a bit deceptive, but otherwise an efficient and pleasant stay.”

“Great and central location, it can be a little loud since you're in the middle of the city, but the trade off is that it's walkable to everything! Parking is also very easy in a flat open lot just a short walk from the house. The beds were very comfortable. The one thing missing in the house was any fans. We understand that most homes in Ireland don't have A/C due to the climate, but it would be really helpful to have a small fan for each bedroom available for guests that happen to be there……
