Villa El Botin is undeniably: “A house with a view”! Everywhere you look around, even from the heated pool, the stunning scenery takes your breath away. You can see both the mountains and the sea. You are surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature, in the middle of large olive and almond groves. The house is located on a quiet road but only 5 minutes drive from the beautiful Andalusian village of Comares, also known as 'The Pearl of Axarquia' and voted 'Pueblo magico d'España'. There are lovely terraces, some shaded to enjoy al fresco dining
There is a very cozy and comfortable living room with a pellet stove for the colder evenings and a large French window which opens onto the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, fridge and all the necessary cooking utensils. There is TV, DVD, stereo, FREE WIFI and ample parking.
The large private swimming pool (12m x 4m) can be heated, except from mid-November to mid-March. There are terraces with views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. A barbecue area outside invites you to cook and dine al fresco. This part of southern Spain has the best climate in all of Europe, winters are very mild here, as evidenced by the many tropical fruits that grow here: mangoes, cherymoyas and avocados. Imagine, enjoying all this with friends or family in a super relaxing environment... something to dream about!
All of our villas are located in beautiful natural surroundings and quiet village areas. Therefore, these houses are ideal for the holidays of families and groups who seek and appreciate these characteristics. Please therefore note that the villas are not suitable and available for loud parties.
Our customers can also bring a pet, but please after requesting it.
The pretty village of Comares has been voted 'Pueblo Magico d'España' and is often referred to as 'The Pearl of Axarquia'. There are restaurants, cozy bars, a supermarket, a bakery (bread baked in a wood oven!), banks, a pharmacy and an ATM. Every morning, a doctor is present. Just outside the village you can enjoy via ferratas and the largest Tirolina in Spain. The beautiful surroundings invite you to hike, cycle, mountain bike or just… relax and enjoy the view.
The award winning beach of Torre del Mar is only 40 minutes (approx) drive from the house. You will find many wonderful “chiringuitos” (beach restaurants) where you can enjoy fresh fish straight from the nearby fishing port of Caleta de Velez. Velez Malaga is next to Torre del Mar and has a large shopping centre. The beautiful lake of Viñuela is a 40 minute drive from the house (approx). You can hike around the lake and enjoy a great meal at one of the restaurants. Nerja, with its famous caves and the famous Balcony of Europa is about an hour's drive (approx) from the house. Málaga, pearl of gastronomy and culture is also only one hour away. Visit one of the many museums, enjoy a real flamenco show or shop until you drop in the famous Calle Larios. Málaga has something to offer everyone.
Villa El Botin is also perfectly located for visiting other parts of Andalucia. You can visit Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) or the famous Caminito del Rey, on a day trip.

THINGS TO NOTE:
-Although the final cleaning is included in the price, we ask all clients to leave the house as they found it.
-For monthly rentals, electricity and gas are NOT included.
- Air conditioning cost: 30 euros by week is in place for your arrival, after this you pay for what you use. The average cost is 1 euro for 1 hour depending on the temperature that you set. Please be aware that air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms only.
-A dog can be allowed ONLY after request.
-Pool heating must be requested one week before arrival and is at extra cost.
-Pool heating is available from April 01 to November 15 at an additional cost of 190 euros per week
-To take full advantage of the surroundings, a car is essential.
-You must pay a refundable deposit of €500 on arrival, which we ask to be paid by credit card. You will be refunded within 7 days of your departure. This cannot be done on the day of your departure, as many guests leave the houses/apartments on the same day. Please ensure our office or your caretaker has your bank details in order to return the deposit.
-Pellets for the pellet stove can be purchased from your caretaker.
Pet cost: €50 per animal.
There is a refundable cleaning/damage deposit of 500 euros, to be paid on arrival.
For long-term rentals (more than 28 days), you pay electricity at €0.35/kw.
