This place was absolutely fantastic. We can’t think of anything wrong with it. Our room was upgraded and the view the pool the food everything was absolutely fantastic. We would definitely recommend and come back. We felt like Kings and Queens visiting. They treated us so nice.

The staff's attentive service was excellent. They upgraded my room, but the bed wasn't big enough for a comfortable night's sleep. They did provide a sofa bed, but the living room was too bright, making sleeping uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the content and service were excellent for a relaxing vacation with my children. I would definitely visit again.

Fabulous 8 night stay

Efficient check in, welcoming and extremely helpful front desk staff, very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating as were the beach and pool staff and the restaurant service people. The hotel is situated on an absolutely beautiful stretch of white sand beach. Between the many pool areas and the beach, there was never an issue finding a place to sit. Although the resort is located away from more central touristy areas, Grab was a very easy and inexpensive way to travel to those areas and/ or restaurants when we wanted to do so. There is a great supermarket within walking distance (approximately 1 kilometre).

We are a family of 5 and booked a villa with ocean view. The flat was really big with much space for everyone. The view amazing. The pool is just one step from the beach, so we could enjoy both equally. The food and drinks were also lovely. The staff very friendly and a great service. Highly recommend Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort and Spa.

Top notch for families with kids. Facilities were amazing. Tons of programs for kids and the activities were well maintained and watched over by staff. The residence rooms are dated with no streaming TVs and pretty much unwatchable. You hear the upstairs neighbors everytime they move a chair. Which is annoying. Easily fixed with some felt on the legs. I may opt for a different room if given the chance but the resort was so beautifully maintained and staff over the top kind. Oh- western prices on everything. Dont expect a deal on food or drinks.

Unfortunately, our stay at the property did not meet our expectations. The hotel felt overwhelmingly large and lacked warmth—it had more of a concrete, industrial feel than a welcoming atmosphere. The staff seemed preoccupied, likely due to a large business event taking place, which made the service feel impersonal. Our suite was disappointing, with a surprisingly small bed and dated furnishings. While the sea view was lovely, it didn’t quite make up for the overall experience in the room. Breakfast at the Regency Club was very limited, and we were surprised to learn that using the main breakfast area required an additional charge, even for suite guests. On a more positive note, the kids club was excellent and definitely a highlight for families. However, the on-site farm was underwhelming, with only two animals, which was a letdown for the little ones. Overall, the hotel is very large and lacks a personal touch. The rooms could really benefit from an update to improve the guest experience.

Disappointed and Unsafe Experience – Not What We Paid For We booked and fully paid for a 3-bedroom beachfront villa at the Hyatt. However, upon arrival, the front desk informed us that due to a “system error,” our villa was unavailable and they could only offer us a garden view villa instead. After insisting on what we had paid for, the staff asked us to “help them out” by agreeing to stay in the garden villa for 2 nights and then move to another. I had just arrived after a long international flight and was feeling very sick, so I reluctantly agreed. Shockingly, just a few hours after checking in, a metal frame from the second floor came loose and fell directly onto my niece’s chair, narrowly missing her head. We reported this dangerous incident immediately, and the hotel moved us to another garden villa. They assured us that we would be refunded the price difference between the beachfront and garden villas—over $1,000. During our stay, we saw another family staying in the beachfront villa we had originally booked, which was upsetting. Before checking out, I asked again about the refund, and the staff claimed they had already handled it through Expedia (since we had booked through them). I trusted that was true. After waiting the 3 days as instructed, I contacted Expedia and found out Hyatt had never reached out to them at all. Eventually, Expedia processed a partial refund of only $260, far less than the actual difference. This entire experience—from the bait-and-switch
