Not a place I would stay at again. No elevator. Stairwell doors did not lock. Non guests could easily enter the building. Should have been cleaner - room, hallways, stairs, breakfast room.

My son and I were in town for a wrestling camp. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The location was perfect for our needs. We would stay again.

The room looked totally different from the pictures - I felt like it was a bait & switch. This hotel is in desperate need of upgrades, it is really old! The room layout was strange because the sink was outside of the bathroom. My niece & her husband who stayed in another room said their room smelled musty when they arrived. Also, the timeframe for breakfast is ridiculous - breakfast ended at 9:00am! Not convenient for weary travelers. We didn’t get into the pool because it did not look clean. I have stayed at La Quintas in the past but this one was a big disappointment. I read the reviews in advance & this hotel didn’t live up to the positive comments.

My husband and I stayed here for one night for a quick getaway to see a show. It was our first time in Roanoke. This hotel was the perfect spot for us. Location is prime, the staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the history behind the hotel and how they preserved certain aspects of the building. We woke up wishing we could stay another night. We will definitely be back in Roanoke soon and staying at the Liberty Trust again!
