“The property is in immaculate condition. The property manager is extremely kind and friendly. She was available throughout the stay. The house is well maintained and very clean. It is easy to get to in the neighborhood. It is farther out from Galveston shops and restaurants, but it wasn't a big deal. We had great access to a good driveable beach that is quiet. We had a great time. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location and management group. ”

“Spotless, not much for amenities but they were clear about that. Staff were great about dropping off more towels and one staff member, on her day off, went to the store and bought some clothes hangers as there were none in the unit. I was disappointed with the view. The photo shows a house looking directly at the beach. That is not the house we stayed in. Ours was smaller and behind it. It is pretty much hidden in the photo they show. We did have a side view of the water but I feel the photo is……

“Ben and Michael were always available to answer our questions and even let us know things we might enjoy during our stay. The property is a gem on Surfside. The beach so near and you can’t beat the calming sounds of the waves and the sounds of nature. The morning walks while the sun rising against the crashing waves so very therapeutic. The beds so comfortable and blankets so soft and clean. We got the much needed rest and sleep now we are fully charged. Definitely both front and back balconies……

“There were dried food stains on the counter, the shower stall was full of sand where it hadn't been cleaned. The master bedroom had no box spring and only a mattress on the bed. The nice sitting area outside the bedroom on the patio was nonexistent. There was only worn-out rug in its place. It was not as advertised, and the photos are very outdated. Reached out to the rental company and nothing came of it. ”

The only downside was I thought we were getting 3 full bathrooms with this rental but this property only has 1 full bath and 2 half baths... makes making sure everyone gets a shower a bit tougher for larger families. (We had 8 people) And one of the bedrooms is detached from the main house... appears the detached garage was converted to the 3rd bedroom. ”

"During my check-in yesterday, I noticed that the bedding (bed sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases) did not appear to have been freshly changed. After contacting the bedding, my skin became itchy, which raised concerns about cleanliness. I reported this to the front desk, but initially, the concern was dismissed based on photos, and I was told that no replacement could be arranged because only one staff member was on duty. After I reiterated my discomfort and hygiene concerns, I was eventually provided with clean linens; however, I had to change the bedding myself. While I appreciate receiving clean linens in the end, this experience did not meet my expectations regarding basic cleanliness and guest service. I hope the hotel will improve its housekeeping checks and response in similar situations. "
