“Nicely appointed renovated home. Had two dinners with guests that the proprietors made. Def would suggest enjoying the company and food.
We had car trouble, and Marcel offered to take us to Hertz in Saumur. Acted as tour guide, chauffeur, and interpreter for us in Chinon as well as Saumur.

“This is a simply delightful place to stay. Clearly, immense effort has gone into creating a place of elegance, style and French sophistication. Hundreds of grace notes abound, little touches of elegance and thought.
Spotlessly clean and with all the amenities you could desire.
The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and helpful, even booking a table in a local restaurant. They took such time and care to make my stay perfect, the only problem being ... I was only there for one night - I would……

“The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed.
A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines.
The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower.”
