“The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed.
A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines.
The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower.”
“The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was just a short drive to Chatellerault.
Difficult to access. Apparently the reception does not open till 5 on a Friday. We understood it opened at 12 every day.
Also when we removed the plug to let out a basin of water it flowed all over the floor underneath the basin.
There was no air conditioning so it was very hot.”
