Beautifully remodeled, with interesting details Hotel Hardware was a delightful stay. The Bobcat bar drinks were top notch and we had a good conversation with the owner/bartender. Dayton’s downtown is pleasant to walk around in, we did the river trail in the morning, a pretty paved walk by the Touchet river.
First time staying at the Hotel Hardware for my husband and I. We loved this boutique hotel! The place was very clean and the room was exceptionally clean as well. We did not eat at the restaurant, but had a drink at the Bobcat Room which was good.
If you want a classy place to stay in Dayton, Washington look no further than. We will be back…
Absolutely wonderful stay!!! Beautiful hotel, room was gorgeous, bed was so comfy, all around an awesome place to stay. Will definitely be staying here again.
This property is nice and clean—just the essentials, simplistic. The bed is so comfortable and the surroundings quiet and peaceful. I slept very well.
I enjoyed the breakfast cafe, which was right next door, and had a hearty meal of bacon and eggs.
Will be back the next time I visit Dayton.
What a great find! A very unique and wonderful experience. It feels like a step back in time, but very authentic. Very clean, perfect bed and bedding, great facilities in the bathroom, and amazing ambience. Every detail is perfect.
The room was clean and nice. There's no staff and we had trouble with the code to enter the building. However when we called the hotel the women we talked to was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was 👍.
I love staying at the Weinhard and greatly appreciate the preservation of this small slice of history. Beautifully appointed with antiques and lovingly restored, the hotel celebrates the history of its founder and his place in the community with photographs and narratives. I love the little extras, like delicious chocolates and ever available coffee and tea. We stay whenever going through the area and greatly enjoy the friendly service and warm, inviting atmosphere.
Renovated old building turned into very modern history filled hotel. Fun old horse equipment and assorted antiques add character to otherwise minimalist decor. My only suggestion is there was no chair or desk in my room. Had work and meetings to attend while here.
The property was beautiful. We loved the room but wish there had been a small table with chairs to enjoy a glass of wine with one another and play a card game at the end of the day since the bar does close relatively early compared to when we normally go to bed. There is quite a bit of open space in the room for that to be accommodated comfortably. We greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness of a phone charger and a tiny fridge to hold our leftoovers from dinner. Padraic was delightful to visit with over our evening cocktail. We wil be back for sure.
Hotel is clean, but very sparse. There is no on site staff. Room didn’t have any cups, or coffee, or soap at the bathroom sink, only in the shower. Beds were nice and comfortable, but that and some night stands were the only furnishings. When I got to the hotel I couldn’t get in and had to call to figure out how to get in. Was supposed to get an email with checkin instructions but never did. I was supposed to be able to pay at the hotel when I booked but they charged my card right away, which made sense once I got there and realized that wouldn’t have been possible, but it shouldn’t be offered as an option when checking out on Expedia.
Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in Dayton. The decor was unique and interesting. Parking was available. Enjoyed a night cap in the Bobcat room and breakfast next door at Locally Nourished cafe. There was a live band playing in the foyer in the evening which provided nice entertainment. I would definitely recommend it and will come back again.
Room was clean and comfortable. Location is quiet. I’d recommend walking down to Elk drug for their old fashioned soda fountain and walking through the historic train depot.
This place is amazing!
We really enjoyed talking with the owner / bartender at The Bobcat room too after checking in.
The room was spacious and beautiful, every corner of the space beautifully crafted.
A gem to find! Will be back
An upscale hostel style accommodation. Very basic but chic. Comfortable bed. Must set suitcases on floor but plenty of floor space. Light filtering shades so wear sleeping mask if you like it dark to sleep. Great small town!
Very clean, very responsive and such a great place to stay. The contactless check-in is flawless, the property is well maintained and very comfortable and beautiful. The only reason I have a medium grade for amenities is we always miss going to the Bob Cat room because of the limited hours. Also cream and sweetener options next to the coffee would be nice. We definitely recommend to anyone who is staying in the area. Very comfortable bed too!
