The Golden Inn was a very nice place to stay for the night. Lea Ann was so helpful and friendly. We were pleased with everything about it…..and will stay there again if we are in the area!!

I had a great 1-night stay. The property was easy to find, and a very short drive off the highway. The property exterior is well maintained. The motel is a classic family motel which structurally looks straight out of the 70's both inside and out, but in very a good way. Plenty of parking, well-kept units and a very nice, friendly staff. This will be my go-to when travelling through the mid-west.

If you want a no thrill clean, quiet, relaxing night's sleep, this is the place to go. Family owned for almost 50 years; this is a true piece of Americana that will be missed should it ever close. It is the only l motel I will stay at in the area.

I stayed here because they are pet friendly. I’d stay here without pets. It’s dated but the bed and bedding was excellent. The room was perfectly clean and the grounds were nice. Staff was very friendly. No complaints at all!

We stayed here overnight during a cross country road trip. We chose the property mostly based on location and proximity to our route. It was darling! We chose a double queen room, and it was super spacious and immaculately clean. Communicating with the owners to arrange late check in was easy and effective!

An older motel, but maintained with loving care. We always try to avoid the big chains and stay at the family owned motels, and this one was perfect, The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The building has a very retro feel and is clearly old, but it is well kept and feels nostalgic. The rooms are clean, no bugs and no mold. The bathroom does not have an exhaust vent, but it does have a window that opens. There is a combination AC/Heat unit that is effective. Plenty of parking. I enjoyed the stay and will come back if we're back in the area.

A must visit hotel

The decor was a little dated but that actually added to the charm. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The owners make you feel like you are family when you arrive. I’m looking forward to my next stay.
