Don’t. Do. It. It’s worth it to drive to Birmingham or stay back in Meridian, The only good think I can say is our beds were clean and there was a roof over our head. The office staff was polite enough. Like someone else, I had to show my confirmation on the app, but they had no idea we were coming at 11pm. Apparently she had an issue with housekeeping earlier and the coverlet covers weren’t ready. She showed me a room for my approval and I said it would be fine. Upon further inspection once our stuff was in, I noticed the lampshade was torn, there were no towels, no tissues. Glad I didn’t look further around after reading others reviews. I had asked about breakfast at check in, and basically got the drift that there was no breakfast. My standards are not very high, but this has to be, hands down, the worst place I’ve ever stayed. No phone for emergency in room. Dirt and crap behind bed.\[pulled out the bed because plug was messed up. had to pull out the plug for wall light, because it was sparking. I could have been burned up from a possible fire. Only one wash cloth and one hand towel to take shower. No bath towel in room. TV had drip stains of some white goop on it. The tub looked old and dirty. So no shower for me that night. People were drinking in breezeway and laughing. Scary place. Front was closed for the night, and I was told to call a number if needed anything. No phone. This was the worst place I have ever had to stay. Left the next morning. Never to return. I would like a refund and wanted to call your company. but chat sucks. I could never reach anyone about this situation. Days Inn by Wyndham was the worst in York, Alabama.
