We had a wonderful stay at Samatra and would definitely return! The staff were incredibly friendly and so kind and accommodating whenever we had a request. The layout was a little different than we expected regarding the kitchen—it isn’t a full kitchen, as it only includes a fridge and a sink without a cooking stove. Also, the bathtub is located outside, so we primarily stuck to using the indoor shower. However, the surrounding nature and wildlife made it completely worth it. The views are absolutely beautiful! We loved waking up to kites flying, birds chirping, and even little lizards crawling around the room. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with all the animals, reptiles, and bugs. It was such a cute and memorable experience for her!

If looking for a nice and quiet place - With the nicest staff, this is where to go. The villas are big - with large bedrooms and large outdoor spaces. Every villa with private pool - but also 3 large common pools. Excellent breakfast …just choose from the ala carte. But …..most importantly…a huge shoutout for the staff. So nice and helpful

Ocean was visable but the rice fields were much more interesting, the bats at night and swiftlets in the day were lovely to watch. The staff were amazing, and the food even better. The property could do with a bit of a refresh in a few places, but we're in a tropical climate so kind of understandable. Would highly recommend this hotel, its very professional and looks after you, and confidently clean. Love it

Good value, beautiful place to stay

we stayed for 5 nights and the place is so quiet, not so many guests; in fact we were the only one in breakfast and using the pool. the service was good, however, some server did not speak English, so we had some trouble getting what we wanted at breakfast. overall, it's a good place to stay.

This is a nice small quiet resort, the location is odd and the enterance is very easy to miss. it is set back far enough from the main road, so they rooms are very quite and secluded. The staff are all extremley helpful. Rooms are well kept and very clean. Signiture SPa treatment was fairly good.

We absolutely loved our stay at Samata. The villas are exceptional with the largest bathrooms we have ever seen in our travels. The food is restaurant quality and beautifully presented. Samata is tucked away down a quiet Jalan with an immediate outlook over tranquil rice fields to the ocean beyond. All the staff were exceptional with their service and genuine kindness. We will absolutely be back to stay, next time for longer. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

This is absolutely the best family holiday we have ever had and The Samata was far beyond our expectations. Our family stayed in the 2-bedroom villa with the private pool which was modern as well as tastefully decorated. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and always went out of their way to make sure our family was relaxed and enjoying our stay. Highly recommended if you are visiting Bali with a family.

Incredible one bedroom villa! Staff went above and beyond. The only downside is the odour that drifts over from a few km away from the recycling plant. Most eco friendly resort we stayed at in Bali. Very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

The hotel is nice but looks a bit worn out compared to the pictures. Since there's open spaces, be prepared to see frogs and geckos. View is nice and place is quiet which we liked. The staff and service were great. Because our flight in the morning was really early, they packed our breakfast for us.
