The pool and the cover over it are perfect way to spend an afternoon after my long walk on a beach that I have all to myself! The water is the most beautiful……

“A single sub-divided room bathroom unit, not a cottage. Not in the same house as pictured. No "guest kitchen" access. Property not maintained or readied to be habitable at this time. Faucet and lights non-functional.”

“This property is in a beautiful location and was likely very lovely at one time, but it needs some work due to a serious water issue. Multiple screens had tears, as well as outdoor furniture. Multiple lightbulbs were out in almost every room. None of this was a big deal, but it was the serious mildew smell throughout the unit that was overwhelming, and we had to leave early. There were signs of mold being painted over and baseboards were warped and discolored from what must’ve been some kind of……

“We had the most amazing stay! The house was superbly located on an elevation that allowed for 360 views from the wrap around veranda. Well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. The beach is a short walk with access to explore the many reefs by snorkeling. The host was welcoming and responsive. Loved it!”

“The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager.”

“The perfect vacation home depends on what your perfect vacation is. This was MY perfect vacation home. We wanted comfort, and seclusion and we got it! We stayed early November of 2025 and never saw more than two people out walking the beach. There are a couple other homes within view but they were empty. The deck looking out over the ocean was definitely a highlight but the inside was very nice also. The upstairs and downstairs can be rented separately but we rented both just to make sure……

Definitely plan on having Harrisonn prepare a meal for your first night.. We did and requested another night. Was delicious. You can not go wrong staying at this house. Will definitely deal with Stephanie again when we go back to Cat Island !!!”
