“A absolutely beautiful place to stay. The house, room and everything is impeccable as pictured. Edna was our host and he is the greatest person. Breakfast was amazing as well. Definitely a great place spend some quality time.”

“We both enjoyed our stay at the Talbot Hotel, Wexford. We found the staff friendly and helpful. . The breakfast offered many choices to suit both our tastes. We left early on the last day and the Hotel provided a very good breakfast for our journey. We hope to stay there again.”

“Beautiful hotel with an excellent breakfast included. But we had an issue with the air conditioning. Don't think it was working at all which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. After the first night we told a young man about the problem and was assured it would be fixed. But it was not.”

“The hotel in general was very nice. The room was good with a nice little balcony with a good view of the building site! I didn't realise there was building work going on outside because I didn't see anything on the website. It didn't make much difference to our stay other than an early rise but it would have been good to know in advance. The room was well decorated and quite new and modern, the only thing that was disappointing was the comfort of the bed, we had 2 rooms and none of the 4 of us……

“Our room was a bit tired and there was only a fan and it was very hot no air conditioning so we had to move rooms as we couldn’t sleep. Moved to a family room with AC but didn’t get any refund for the difference in room.”

“We had a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. It was clean and the views were lovely from living room and the 2 double rooms. The twin faced a different direction but it was still very comfortable. It was great to have our own kitchen and the little balcony accessed through the 2 main bedrooms. The receptionist we saw on arrival and departure of our 2 night stay was lovely and went above and beyond her duties by running down the promenade after us when she realised that my disabled friend had……

“Great little locally owned place. The food was good. The pub was great. Friendly locals gathered as well as fellow travelers. Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night. The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. We had some trouble with no heat in our room the first night. The staff was quick to respond to turn it on that evening; however, it didn't get/stay on, so it never warmed up, and……

“The hotel is older and could use updating. Landscaping appears to be overgrown in some areas. Outside our window was an old grocery cart and a piece of fencing. Not sure why it was there. Parking was limited and there was no air conditioning. Showers were very small.”
