“Rooms were nice and helpful with being able to make your own meals. Younger woman at front desk comes off a little sharp and not friendly. Not a very welcoming type of person,”

“Open Hearth Lodge is a smaller charming hotel, outside the hustle and bustle of Sister Bay. We immediately noticed the firepit area, already active, and was informed there was also pit in the back of the Lodge. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and informative. He explained all the amenities and the continental breakfast available. Dovetail Bar & Grill was literally minutes away. Our 2-queen bedroom had rustic decor, including a wall mount electric fireplace. It was roomy,……

“Staff in afternoon were very helpful. The rest were ok. Water in shower was like warm. Faucet was altered so hot water could not be turned past barely hot. Bathroom door sqeaked so loud it would wake up sleeping person. I lubricated it finally using liquid soap. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.”
