"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. Let me be clear, the AC did not work AT ALL and when we returned it was hotter in the room than outside at 9pm. Couldn't open the windows or doors because the of the mosquitoes. "This beautiful property is in the main path and waterfront, 50 yards away lay over a dozen sea lions each day ...an incredible sight. Great restaurants also yards away...The Pier Restaurant is amazing btw. Tatiana, the hotel's manager and her assistant are wonderful. They patiently explained everything to us, looked for excursions, and even walked us to the agency. The breakfasts are delicious and abundant, set outside with a water view, while finches come tableside. They also have water, coffee, cocoa, and tea avail all day and a refrigerator if you want to keep food. The only down side the bathrooms need upkeep...lighting and hot/cold water faucets."

"Safe area and building, clean and spacious rooms. Nice balcony over looking the bay, there is also a nice shared dining/living area where you can prepare your own food. Beach towels are available at no extra cost, there’s coffee in the mornings in the lobby. The breakfast was a great addition. What really stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They would do anything to help, were warmly greeted on every occasion. I asked for laundry to be done and this only cost $3. Very good price. I’d highly recommend staying here, the Galápagos Grill next door is perfect for snacks and meals. Thank you."
