“WE loved the old Victorian style home. Spaces to gather in, a large, furnished kitchen with all the comforts of home. Bathrooms were big, clean & furnished with the essentials. Decor was wonderful with the woodwork & stain glass & color scheme. Wi-Fi was available with a large TV. easy locking system. Suggestion: could use a screen back door to keep the flies out when coming in & out. I know it's still being renovated, so next time I'll be excited to see the changes. I didn't need earplugs……

“We had quite a bit of snow during our stay. It was nice to get up and have the sidewalk and the stoop shoveled. We have stayed in this house a couple of years now the host is very welcoming and easy to work with. The only suggestion that I have during the winter months is to get a longer rug by the front door for boots and shoes since the floor is hardwood. ”

“A great apartment right on main street in Nauvoo. It wasn’t a problem and I didn’t think to contact the host, but we couldn’t figure out how to get the heater to work in the living/kitchen area but we were fine with the heat in the bedrooms. All went well! Thanks for a great place to stay!”

“Cozy little cabin that was great for a little couples weekend. The screened in porch overlooking the river was lovely for relaxing and reading. Keep in mind that the driveway has a pretty steep decline so you may not want to drive a low riding vehicle. Also the railing for the loft is pretty open so you'd have to keep an eye on small children. ”

“I read the reviews of others and here's my experience. I did not have any bad smells and my son (who is allergic to cats) did not have any allergy issues. It is obviously an older property, so it's not a modern, freshly painted environment. Things are obviously used, but the renters have done a good job making the space usable and feel "homey". I am pretty easy to please, not a diva so the little grandma type accents I looked at as sweet and quaint. We loved that the dollar general was……
